Nourishing Bone Broth

Bone Broth:

I love bone broth. I love making it as it is pretty simple, but I like drinking it even more. It is nutrient-dense, rich in flavour, and has many health benefits. Bone broth has a ton of vitamins, minerals, and natural collagen, which is excellent for "gut" health and digestion. It also helps protect our joints as we age. Our cartilage reduces significantly, but bone broth is so absorbable that it helps restore our bodies' cartilage. Broth also provides the building blocks to form and maintain strong, healthy bones. The amino acids found in bone broth are great for helping us recover from a hard workout, and the collagen also helps heal wounds and improve skin elasticity. Incorporating homemade bone broth into your diet is easy, and if you make a lot, you can store it in soup jars in the refrigerator for up to 6 months. Once open, it will only last for up to 6 days. Ensure you let your broth cool completely before putting the broth in the fridge. If you freeze it, storage bags are best.
