Delicious fresh Green Juice
My Favourite Greens Juice:
So many juicers are on the market, so find what works for you. I use a slow, cold-press juicer. It squeezes out juice instead of shredding the fruit and vegetables. They all take time to clean, but the results are worth it!
Ingredients:
Two handfuls of organic kale
One-half of organic English cucumber
Two handfuls of organic spinach
Four florets of organic broccoli (give or take)
Five ribs of organic celery
One-half of an organic lemon
One handful of ice
Directions:
Wash all the ingredients, put everything into a large bowl, and place it beside the juicer. Juice the kale, celery, cucumber, and broccoli. When it’s done, I pour the juice into my Vitamix and add the ice, lemon, and spinach. I recently added this step instead of juicing all the ingredients so it becomes smoother and more tasteful. You may need to scoop foam from the top after it blends, as it could become foamy. Blend until you cannot see any spinach pieces floating around. Around a minute or so. If you want juice for 2-3 days, double or triple the recipe and pour it into a glass bottle with a tight lid. They can keep fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
