Homemade Peanut Butter Chips
Peanut butter chips are easy to make and add the perfect touch to any snack or dessert. With just three simple ingredients, you can whip these up in no time—though they do require some patience while freezing! We recommend letting them set overnight for the best texture. Since they melt quickly, keep them stored in an airtight container in the freezer until you're ready to use them.
Toss them on smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, granola, ice cream, or straight into your mouth—because why not?
Ingredients:
- 1 cup natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 ½ tbsp honey
Instructions:
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the peanut butter, coconut oil, and honey. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Line a baking sheet or flat surface with parchment paper. Pour the mixture onto the parchment and spread evenly.
- Place in the freezer and let set completely, ideally overnight.
- Once frozen, break or cut into small chips. Transfer to an airtight container and keep stored in the freezer.
Now, go ahead and toss them on everything—or just snack on them straight from the freezer!
