Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup dates (pits removed)
- 3/4 cup almond flour or coconut flour
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (or flax eggs for a vegan option)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional for extra richness)
- 3/4 cup Haley’s Pantry OG Granola (to sprinkle on top)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Blend the Dates: In a food processor, blend the dates until they form a smooth paste. If needed, add a tablespoon of warm water to help with blending.
- Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, combine the almond butter, maple syrup, date paste, almond flour, sea salt, vanilla extract, eggs, and baking powder. Stir until the batter is smooth and well incorporated.
- Pour and Smooth: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle dark chocolate chips and Haley’s Pantry OG Granola evenly over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing them into squares.
