My Favourite Tuna Salad

This is my favourite Tuna Salad recipe, one I've been making since I was a teenager. I loved it back then, and I still enjoy it today! This healthier version contains no mayo and is gluten-free, dairy-free, and made with organic ingredients. Packed with fresh herbs and vegetables, it’s a nutritious and delicious option for any meal!

Ingredients:

wild tuna packed in water unsalted

1 handful of sliced green onion

1 handful of diced organic celery

a pinch of chopped fresh dill (more if you happen to love dill)

a squeeze of lemon

1tsp of balsamic vinegar

1tsp of dijon mustard

Haley's Pantry OG granola (for the topping on your salad or toast)

1 pinch of spicy salt

a twist or two of black pepper

You can also add diced carrots, cucumbers, purple onion or cherry tomatoes

Directions:

Open the can of tuna, drain the water and place in the Cuisinart. Add the onion, celery, dill, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Blend until the veggie pieces are chopped. Don't blend too much as the tuna will become too smooth. I like mine mixed, but not too much. Scoop into a bowl and top on your favourite salad, toast or bread. Add Haley's Pantry OG granola for extra crunch and flavour. You won't regret it! Enjoy!
